Dr. Andrews' Specializations

With a thorough initial assessment, Dr. Andrews first identifies areas of growth.

Then, in collaboration with the child and caregivers (parents, doctors, teachers), target goals are defined.

Treatment helps the child learn new skills, bolsters appropriate parenting practices, and builds a supportive environment for lasting change.

Dr. Andrews offers individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents.

While some teens eagerly attend therapy, others may be more hesitant or reticent.

Care is taken to help teens feel comfortable and to identify their own goals for therapy, thus enhancing motivation.

Young Adults

Dr. Andrews offers individual and group therapy for young adults, and family therapy as indicated.

Treatment focuses on unique challenges such as identity development, social difficulties, school or career challenges, and family conflict.
